Second Trilateral Forum: China as a Global Player was held at the East China Normal University
National Intelligence Council (USA), School of Advanced International and Area Studies, East China Normal University (ECNU), The Centre for China Policy Analysis (CCPA), the Graduate Institute of International Studies, Geneva (HEI), the Institute for International Strategic Studies, London (IISS) are jointly organizing an international forum “China as a Global Actor” on Saturday, 16 - Sunday, 17 September 2006, in Shanghai.
This forum shall bring together Asian and Western policy-makers and experts to provide a platform of open dialogue about the role ofChinain the world, howChinais seen as a global actor by the foreign policy establishments of great powers and howChinaas an international player deals with great powers.
Initiated inGeneva, together with the National Intelligence Council, the Trilateral Forum rotates inGeneva,ShanghaiandNew York.
