Delegation of the Belarusian Ministry of Education visited ECNU

    On September 17, 2014, a delegation of the Belarusian Ministry of Education visited East China Normal University. The delegation was headed by V. Shaprov, director of the Ministry’s international department, and comprised leading officials in charge of educational affairs in various provinces of Belorussia. Professor Fan Jun, vice-president of ECNU, held a meeting with the delegation at the university’s Belarusian Studies Center. After recounting the growth of ECNU and its cooperative endeavors with various Belarusian universities, Professor Fan proposed further measures to deepen cooperation between the two sides. Mr. Shaprov expressed his appreciation of ECNU’s efforts to foster international collaboration, and stressed the determination of the Belarusian Ministry of Education as well as all Belarusian universities to promote cooperation with ECNU and assist in the development of the university’s Belarusian Studies Center.
