Distinguished Hungarian Scholars Visit SAIAS
On January 7, 2016, two distinguished Hungarian scholars visited SAIAS. Professor Attila Marjan, head of the Department of International and European Studies at Hungary’s National University of Public Service, gave a talk entitled “Eastern and Central-Eastern Europe: China’s Gateway to Europe,” which explores the position of the four Central-Eastern European countries in China’s One-Road-One-Belt strategy. Afterward, Madame Edina Zsigmond, a senior diplomat in Hungary’s mission to the European Union, briefed the SAIAS faculty and students on the question of how to apply for the EU’s Erasmus Program grants.
