Professors Pan Xingming and Wang Shiming Attend National Symposium
On December 19-21, 2015, the annual national symposium on the studies of British history in China took place in Xiangtan, Hunan Province. The event was jointly hosted by the British History Society of China and the School of Liberal Arts at Hunan Science and Technology University. Two SAIAS faculty members, Professors Pan Xingming and Wang Shiming, attended the symposium and delivered keynote speeches entitled respectively “Social Integration and Racial Segregation in the pre-1914 Empire” and “Was the Southern Island of New Zealand terra nullius?.”
